The 7th Grade Musical Revue is a collaborative rehearsal project geared towards the 7th grade class that culminates in a revue-style performance. At the start of the rehearsal process, students collaborated with the director to identify themes and topics that they are passionate about. The content for the show has been devised around the students’ interests and the stories they are excited about telling. Students have be assigned solos, duets and small group numbers based on skill and ability. They have focused on acting-through-song and learned some staging and theatrical movement.
