About the PPAS PTA

The PPAS Parent Teacher Association is a nonprofit organization that builds community, raises funds for student programs and partners with the school to reach ambitious goals. Simply by being an educator or parent/guardian of a PPAS student, you’re a PTA member!

Interested in sharing your time, talents or monetary support? Contact a PTA Executive Board Member, consisting of officers and major-specific delegates, on the list here.

The PTA meets on the third Wednesday of every month in person at PPAS as well as on Zoom. Visit the Calendar for login details. Stay informed about PTA activities by signing up for our e-newsletter and mailing list here.

From the PTA Bylaws, our PTA objectives are:

  • to provide support and resources to the school for the benefit and educational growth of the children;
  • to promote and help develop a cooperative working relationship between the parents and staff of PPAS;
  • to develop parent leadership and build capacity for greater involvement;
  • to foster and encourage parent participation on all levels;
  • to provide opportunities and training for parents to participate in school governance and decision- making; and
  • to further such other purposes as set forth in the PTA’s Certificate of Incorporation.
